Audi A3 1.9tdi PD130 MOT Failure Reason(s) for failure: Nearside Front Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement rear bush. FITTED, NEEDS FINISHING Offside Outer Front constant velocity joint gaiter damaged to the extent that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt etc. WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH VEHICLE Nearside Rear Tyre tread depth below requirements of 1.6mm ALREADY REPLACED Nearside Front Tyre tread depth below requirements of 1.6mm ALREADY REPLACED Front registration plate delaminated (6.3.1d) ALREADY REPLACED I started to fix the car ready for the retest but ran out of time and have since bought another vehicle. The front suspension arm needs finishing (I also replaced the inner and outer steering rod as they were corroded) and the CV boot needs fitting then it will be ready. I have already replaced the front number plate and the two tyres that it failed on. The car drives really well normally, it is the same engine as in the Skoda Fabia VRS which is a brillant engine. 6 speed gearbox, I normally average mid 50's mpg with a mixture of motorway and town driving. The car will need to be trailed away as it cant be driven due to the suspension arm.
